Writers need readers. But first they need beta readers. Those are the kind souls who will read a rough draft and give you an honest opinion on it. There’s a traditional publishing house that has the manuscript for Mad World, and has since April 8th. I followed up with them once and they told me it was still under consideration, which presumably means it hasn’t reached the top of the slush pile and no one has read it yet.
